One of the flaws with that statement is it's not pure redistribution. What we humans do is take raw materials like petroleum and rearrange the molecules until we get all of the plastics and other materials that simply do not exist in nature at all. That's a big part of what pollutes, when you open up a fish and find its belly full of plastic granules.Also, you're using the word "redistribution" in a way much like a corporate euphemism, or propaganda. If you discover that someone has taken some naturally occurring substance, like lead, mercury, or uranium, and put it in the dinner you just finished eating, are you just gonna brush it off and call it "redistribution" ? No, you'll probably call it "poisoning" or "attempted murder."
